About Us
​Pack the Plane to Ukraine is a 501c non-profit, partnered 70 US hospitals and the Ukrainian Medical Association of North America (UMANA) to send critical medical supplies and to enhance surgical care in Ukraine.
* Community action resulted in close to 20,000 pounds of humanitarian goods shipped to internally displaced refugees.
* Over $300,000 value of medical supplies have been shipped.
* We have led multiple medical missions and started a program to bring Ukrainian cancer MD's to the US to complete observerships.
Pack the Plane to Ukraine is committed to the evolving health system in Ukraine… training the next generation of physicians and responding to the gaps created by the crisis.​
Vision & Mission
​Material Support
Provide critical medical equipment and supplies to hospitals and medical centers in Ukraine to improve patient care.
Education
Offer training and skill-building programs for Ukrainian physicians, both in and outside the country, to address gaps caused by the war.
Infection Control
Introduce advanced instruments and procedures to hospitals to reduce the risk of infectious complications for patients.
Displaced Persons Support
Provide aid and resources to the large refugee population living in western Ukraine, who have been displaced by the conflict.
Cancer PRoGram
Led by US-based physicians, we hold masterclasses on new clinical practice in cancer care including surgical and medical oncology aspects.

Programs include didactic and live surgery components with US physicians leading surgeries in Ukraine.
We fund Ukrainian oncologists observer-ships at leading US hospitals, providing them with invaluable hands-on experience and exposure to advanced cancer care techniques.
REMOTE GUIDANCE
Through telemedicine, we connect Ukrainian physicians with US-based specialists who can provide real-time clinical guidance and support during medical procedures, ensuring the highest level of care for patients.
Infection control

Findings from the data collected and clinician adoption have been documented and presented at national conferences.
Prevention Measures
We address the gaps in understanding and resistance to implementing proven infection prevention practices in Ukrainian hospitals.
Modernizing Equipment
We upgrade
outdated and poorly sterilized surgical instruments and reduce the risk of infectious complications for trauma and wound care patients.
